Senses and Perception

Regular readers of the Fairy Tale Dimension blog are used to exploring a dimension that is not ours, but is just as real. Just by entertaining the idea that this dimension could exist we widen our awareness. Today I go one step further and invite you to accompany me into the world of perception and the role our senses play in our changing reality.

Displacing stuff

You have probably searched in vain for keys or a document. Sometimes it takes a long time to find them or they reappear at unexpected places. In my household this happens a lot.

Here are some examples:

One pair of kitchen scissors has disappeared twice in 6 years: One time for 2 years and one time for half a year only to be rediscovered somewhere strange.

On a holiday a few years back our hairbrush vanished from my backpack. We searched everywhere and concluded that it was lost. We continued the trip and in the evening my daughter found it in the same backpack we had emptied before. This is when I started to think that there was more to these displacements.

I was not amused when my driver´s licence went missing and I applied for a replacement document. A few months later the old one reappeared at an unlikely place.

An octogenarian friend of mine displaced one shoe a few weeks ago and had help searching only to find it at an obvious place days later. This was the first time something like this had happened to her.

I tried to explain that this could happen more often in the future and that it does not mean that she was developing dementia.

She said that she understood my words but did not get the concept. It was too strange for her. I guess you have to experience this more often. How about you? Have you had experiences with things mysteriously disappearing and reappearing? Please share in the comments!

Where does our stuff go?

I don´t know. It definitely is not here in any more. If I search with other people, to get a more objective picture,  and cannot find it, it definitely is not part of our reality any more. Perhaps we have finally found an explanation for the heaps of solitary socks in our drawers?

The most efficient way to handle these occurrences is to keep calm, order your stuff back and then forget about it. Frantic searching won´t help. Most things will reappear sooner or later. I believe that this displacing of things will be happening more for everybody.

What is happening?

We are showing ourselves that our reality is not fixed and that we are able to manipulate it in more ways than we think possible. I know that I am not always aware of what I am doing energetically and then these displacements happen more often.

Reality and perception

We are firmly rooted in our reality and that is a good thing. We have basic agreements with each other on what our world looks like. The house we live in and the streets we walk every day stay the same because of these agreements.

Our brain is used to tune out things it deems irrelevant. Thus we thankfully have a permanent filter that makes us more efficient because we can concentrate on the matters at hand.

Sometimes this filter has holes. People who suffer from dementia lose their firm roots in our collective reality and let go of the agreements. This is why they see things that don´t belong here. A friend of my mother-in-law who has Alzheimer´s told me that she does not share the strange things that she sees any more because people think that she is crazy.

For example she suddenly sees a pig running across the street. This pig is very real for her. We don´t see it because it does not belong in our reality. It could be part of an alternative reality or another dimension.

This has interesting consequences: If aliens would land in my backyard right now I would probably not see them because my brain would tune them out!

The Invisible Gorilla

In their book The Invisible Gorilla Christopher Shabris and Daniel Simmons have investigated our perception. You can test how much you tune out automatically on their website.

This helps me to understand why each person in a group of people has a different account of a situation the whole group was in. It shows that perception is always depending on the individual.

Our world is changing

Perhaps you have heard that a shift in consciousness is occurring at the moment. All of us agreed on some level that we want to become more aware. This causes a thinning of the veils between alternative realities and dimensions and it gets easier for us to perceive things that don´t belong here. So when you see something strange that you cannot easily explain, just play with the idea that it could be a spill over from somewhere else. Here are some examples from my life:

Hearing an animal that is not there

My daughter was hearing a purring at night without our two cats being near her room. The other day my husband heard it, too which helped my daughter a lot who was thinking that she might have been hallucinating. They both heard something that is not manifest in this reality. Perhaps she will meet this cat later in her life and recognise its purring.

Elves from the fairy tale dimension

Last year when we visited Iceland one of my daughters managed to lose two earphones on two consecutive days. She swore that she put them safely in her backpack.

Turns out that I am not the only one in my family who has a close connection to elves.  My daughter has another focus of consciousness as a princess in one of the elf fairy tale countries. When we were in West-Iceland, the area where I also met my first elves, somebody recognised her. Two elves accompanied her for the rest of the journey. Since these creatures love to play with strings, marbles and shiny stuff they took the two sets of earphones back to the fairy tale dimension. At home a few weeks later we found one pair of them in her room. The other never reappeared.

Ever since this trip elves have inhabited her room, which has mutated into a giant playground for them. Stuff they can play with is lying around everywhere.

We found out that they love dripping water when we discovered a wet spot on her floor. The elves had moved a loose panel on our roof so that water could enter through the ceiling when it rained.

We told them that water would destroy our wooden floor and that we preferred our home unharmed and fixed the panel. So far no more water has been diverted into her room.

We can´t see our live-in elves. Sometimes we hear them rummaging or make out movement in our peripheral vision. Five years ago we probably would not have been able to be aware of any of this. You can read more about elves in Iceland in this blog article.

Animal´s perceptions

Animals don´t distinguish between manifest and not manifest energies like we do. If you see your pet reacting to something that you cannot see, this means that there is something:

The other day our cat suddenly hissed at something invisible beside my daughter on the sofa. I switched to my energy detection mode and could make out a little shape beside her, probably one of her elves. The cat probably wanted to protect her.

How to adjust to these interesting times

I have shared here some of my experiences that show that we disappear stuff regularly and that our perception could be changing.  Our senses seem to be letting through more information and thus we are able to perceive more than we used to. This can be both unnerving and exciting. My family is pretty open for these occurrences. We stopped to explain them away and laugh about them.

To stay sane when experiencing something unusual  we need a firm stand in our reality. We have to be aware and know ourselves as well as possible to stay grounded. Only then we are able to identify safely that something does not belong here without scaring ourselves. Thus we can widen our awareness as we get used to the thinning of the veils between different realities.

A great opportunity to learn this is to make a game out of it. We do this in my facebook group The Fairy Tale Dimension  where we share our fairy tale moments and possible bleed-throughs from the fairy tale dimension.

Humour is a very efficient way to cope with these changes. I don´t take myself and my senses too seriously any more.

How are world is changing – without the metaphysical focus of this article – is very well explained in this interview of Charles Eisenstein in a you-tube video about Living the Change.

The Waterfall Dimension and Dreaming

Today I introduce another dimension in this blog. Apart from the fairy tale dimension we have visited the contemplative dimension. There are billions of dimensions which all exist parallel because consciousness is so vast. When I try to comprehend this, my head starts to hurt so I just stop trying.

The Waterfall Dimension

We discovered the waterfall dimension in my husband´s teleportation group a few months ago. It is a transitory dimension. This means that you can end up there when you travel through dimensions without a specific goal.

Travelling through dimensions?

I don´t do that! You will probably say. Well, sorry, yes you do. All of us project to other dimensions in our sleep without being aware of it. The dimension we visit most is the fairy tale dimension this blog is about. You can read about how the fairy tale dimension is constructed and how it works here.

Besides the fairy tale dimension we visit many other dimensions, too. I have been to the Unicorn dimension, Atlantis, a liquid dimension and the Naga dimension (big sentient snake-like beings live there) to name a few. We can do much more than we realise!

It seems that a lot of us are coming across the waterfall dimension sooner or later. There is some kind of natural connection to our dimension I cannot pinpoint yet. This connection makes it easy for us to make a stopover there before moving on.

What does the Waterfall Dimension look like?

The waterfall dimension looks like a giant tiered cake. There are 9 big layers. Every layer is a separate world on its own. The layers are connected by giant waterfalls. Many different waterfalls fall over the rims and connect one layer to the next. These waterfalls are like gigantic lifts: Some are flowing upward and some downward. They flow through vacuum and space so gravitation ends at some point. But the water is still flowing to the next layer.

There must be a huge water cycle spanning the 9 worlds. For the animals and plant life living in this water means that their home is a giant vehicle that enables them to travel a lot. When I tap into the plant life I see big interwoven red algae that serve as nesting grounds for small animals. There is also a predator that reminds me of our dolphins. It can live both in and out of the water.

The ships

The waterfalls are navigated with special ships. These ships are built of the wood of a huge sequoia-like tree that has specific properties: To navigate safely in the streams and not topple off into the void the ships need to have some kind of friction that makes them stick to the stream and the wood is essential for this.

The people who harvest the wood can communicate with the plants and thus shape the trees growing them according to the form that will be needed later. Especially the big logs are pre-manufactured this way. The smaller parts are built with normal woodwork.

The ships have a closed ovoid shape and, if needed, can be totally immersed in water. It is important that the ships are kept permanently at a certain angle to maintain optimal buoyancy. It takes skilled navigators to manoeuver them.

The navigators

The navigators are a species that has dedicated itself to tending the trees, building the ships and navigating them up and down the waterfalls.

To me they look ant-like, walking upright with a big head with antennas and many thin stick-like arms and legs that can manipulate a multitude of controls at once.

The non-physical

The specialty of the waterfall dimension is a connection to non-physical realms: In the room between the cake layers the veils between the physical and the non-physical can become very thin.

What does that mean? We are physical because we have bodies. We can touch material things and manipulate them.

Nonphysical things can´t be touched and are normally not seen by us because of the veils that separate us from the non-physical.

Consequently when you travel these waterfalls you can see and interact with all kinds of ghosts and apparitions you would not be aware of in your physical world. You can also see what impact your energy is making and how you are forming energies. If you always wanted to be semi-transparent, this is the place to go for it.

Depending on how far apart the layers are, the veils are thinner or thicker. You can get very uncomfortable in the places where the layers are further apart and the veils get very thin.

This can be very scary! Just imagine a ghost or a horrific monster materializing beside you as you read this article. Would you say: Hi, how are you and start a conversation? Probably not. I would be frightened for sure! Why? Because we are not used to this and need time to adjust.

Luckily the navigator species is not only very apt at handling the ships but they also help their passengers to get used to the nonphysical energies during the weeklong journeys.

Dreaming

I regularly join my friend Harry Bosma in one of his dream groups. Since I am not an avid recorder of my dreams I motivate myself to pay more attention to them by attending some of his group events. Last October we even did a group dream event featuring the fairy tale dimension.

I know that I visit the fairy tale dimension a lot in my dreams but it is hard for me to recall and interpret the feelings and images I dream about. I overcome this obstacle by what I call tapping into. By tapping into I connect with the subject I want to know about energetically.

In the dream groups we set dream goals and share our dreams and daytime synchronicities. The participants of the recent dream group are familiar with the fairy tale dimension and have all been travelling regularly to other dimensions with my husband´s teleportation group. One of our goals in this group was to connect to other dimensions. Interestingly we ended up in the waterfall dimension and this experience inspired me to write this blog article.

Dreaming about the Waterfall Dimension

First all of us dreamt of water in different forms. Then a torus shaped form started to appear in our dreams. We discovered that this shape stands for a being that is the gatekeeper of the waterfall dimension. I imagine that it works a little like the GrImporter in the fairy tale dimension.

Transit

One of the group dreamers found out that the torus can communicate by feelings and so finds out the intentions of the visitors. It is aware of what they want to experience and of their preferences. It then recommends places to go and sends them on their way. My feeling is that travellers pass right through the torus.

To me the torus is not entirely physical. There is no doubt that it is sentient, highly intelligent and compassionate however. It seems to be made out of dense fog and does not have any organs, arms or legs. It is a very interesting being we will explore further.

I am always amazed how we come up with information in the dream groups and how we create a much bigger picture by adding our dreams. Thank you a lot D, Harry and T for your input to this blog article!

The whole water dimension still feels very alien to me. It is so different from our dimension and the fairy tale dimension. I don´t know much about the 9 individual worlds yet and I will see what we will find out in the future. I am especially curious about the connection between our dimensions. As always: Your impressions are welcome.
